Prefabricating elements in our Alexandria workshop ensured quality control was upto the usual KANE standard. Onsite, careful supervision of specialist subcontractors (Zinc roofing and Vitrepanel) and detailing for the extreme environment guarantee that both buildings will give years of service to Waverley Council. Shane and Alexei were concerned at the productivity of our guys, (especially on warm, sunny days!) and were often down on-site keeping a close eye on progress… |

NECROPOLIS
Heritage restoration works at the Cemetery (including 1.4km of Canal stabilisation and restoration by KANE) recently were awarded the Energy Australia National Trust Heritage Award for 2002. Suters Architects' Sydney office project-managed the works, and provided heritage consultancy. KANE works were completed in May 2001. The KANE team is proud to have been involved with this unusual and successful project. |
