Jonathan Forster B Sc ARICS MAICD
Executive Chairman
Jonathan Forster established Kane Constructions in 1973. A graduate of the College of Estate Management, London and a Chartered Surveyor he sets the strategic direction of the company.
Jonathan is an Honorary Life Member of the Master Builders Association of Victoria and the Retirement Village Association of Australia. He is a Director of OFM Investment Group Ltd, The Over 50s Mutual Friendly Society Ltd, The Redundancy Central Fund Ltd and a number of other private companies involved in construction, property investment and retirement villages.
Tony Isaacson BA (Hons) Dip Bldg MAIB
Managing Director
Tony Isaacson joined Kane in 1979 and succeeded Jonathan Forster as Managing Director in 2001.
Tonys "hands on" approach together with his detailed understanding of every aspect of the companys operations acquired over 20 years ensures that Kane maintains its focus on quality and its accountability to clients notwithstanding the growth in the firms size and geographical spread.
John Chambers B Sc (Hons) Building
Construction Director
John Chambers joined Kane in 1987 as Project Manager on the new Jag Headquarters in Richmond. He joined the Board in 2000 and became Construction Director in 2001.
John enjoys working to fixed deadlines and brings a clear and calm analytical mind to the board of Kane. He has accumulated a diverse portfolio of projects in health care, education, retail and restoration construction and thrives on the difficult and challenging.
Rob Lucas B Comm ACA
Finance Director
Rob Lucas joined Kane in 1997 and became Finance Director in 2001. With 25 years experience as a Chartered Accountant holding senior management positions in construction and development companies, including John Holland, Heytesbury Holdings and the Julliard Group. Rob adds a great depth of financial knowledge and experience to Kane.
Rob recognises that user friendly IT can deliver effective communication and centralised control in the accounting function that is so essential for the financial well being of a construction company and its many stakeholders.
